OKKAMI has seamlessly integrated with Currency Select, a PCI-certified currency conversion and payment processing platform, in conjunction with Opera, a hotel property management system, providing hotels with the capability to pre-authorize credit cards with a zero amount in any currency for pre check-in. This feature is accessible to guests using the hotel app, enabling them to check in up to 48 hours before arrival or during the check-in time.
When guests use the hotel app to pre-check-in, OKKAMI initiates a pre-authorization request with Currency Select. Currency Select, being PCI-certified, meticulously verifies the credit card information and authorizes the zero amount in the guest’s preferred currency. Once the guest has completed the check-in process, OKKAMI generates a unique token, sent to Opera, representing the guest’s pre-authorized credit card.
